After Hotmail had been acquired by Microsoft, it was rebranded into “Outlook.” And despite these huge changes, many users still prefer to use Hotmail over its competitors. If you wish to create a Hotmail account and join those users, you can be definitely sure that you will face no difficulties in doing so – you have just to follow our guidelines.

In order to create a Hotmail account, you should select the Outlook app in the first place

• At first, you should access your browser and go to the MSN website: https://www.msn.com/.

• On that page, you have to select “Outlook.com” among other Microsoft apps.

You should enter a login of your future email address and click on this button

• On the following page, you should click on the “Create account” button.

After typing a password in the given field, click on the blue button

• Once you have done that, you will have to write a username of your future address in the given field. Click on “Next.”

You will also be asked to provide your first and last name

• Then, you should enter a password of your account and click on the “Next” button on the next page.

Hotmail will also require you to enter your birthdate and a country you reside in

• Following it, you will have to type your first and last name on the next page. Then, click on the “Next” button.

You need to enter a Captcha code in order to proceed further

• After you have done that, you should enter your country in the first field on the next page and your birthdate in the remaining field. Click on the “Next” button.

This kind of a notification shows that you have just succeeded to create a Hotmail account

• Now, you have to enter a Captcha code and click on the “Next” button.

At this point, you need to select the interface language and timezone of yours

• Following it, you will get to see that your Hotmail account has just been created. Now, you should click on the “Next” button (placed on the right).

You can also select a non-standard Hotmail theme right at the beginning

• Then, you should select the interface language, your time zone, and click on the “Next” button again.

At this point, you are offered to make a signature for your email address or skip it off completely

• Following it, you will be given an opportunity to apply a non-standard theme to your account rightaway. Just select a theme you want to apply to your newly created Hotmail account and click on the “Next” button.

In order to start using the newly created Hotmail account, you should click on the given “Let’s go” button

• Then, you can add a signature to your email. If you want your signature to remain blank, you should click on the “Off” option and on the “Next” button then.
• Following it, you will get to see a notification that your account has been created.
